Tay Gwin is a very funny and cool artist living in San Francisco, California. She grew up in Kansas and studied bass performance and studio art at the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is a big fan of wheat fields, lightning bugs, thunderstorms, swimming in creeks, and going fishing but not catching any fish.
Currently, Tay works creating ceramics at Smaart Studios in SF. Her work explores themes of intimacy, contrast, memory, and color theory. She has had work published in small art magazines and has also been featured in galleries nationally. In her spare time Tay loves to buy used CDs to listen to while she drives around in her truck or tell bad jokes or share meals with her friends.
